I am curious too. I'm considering the Classe 9 for my shop - but not sure if the Xcelsius is part of their standard technology with that machine yet or not. 

I understand the Classe 9 comes out next month and I have an e-mail to my Rancilio rep to find out more about it. It sounds like it has some great possibilities for temp control during brew of espresso with some pretty interesting and noticeable results (according to Coffee Geek).
