Meet the Producer - Panama - August 7th

to welcome our producers from Panama:

Daniel and Rachel Peterson, Hacienda La Esmeralda

Carlos Aguilera, Carmen Estate

Ricardo Koyner, Duncan Estate

Hacienda Esmeralda produces the most sought-after coffee in Panama, and has inspired fierce competition at auction. Their farm alone has brought the relatively rare and low-yielding geisha varietal into the spotlight for its spectacular tea-like cup profile.

This year's crop of Carmen Estate has been called 'pristine' more times than we can count. Our green coffee buyer Aleco describes Ricardo Koyner at Duncan Estate as 'the best organic coffee farmer' he has ever seen.

Stumptown is really proud of our relationship with each of these producers and we covet their coffees. We hope you will come meet them, share their stories and hear more about what it takes to produce these gems of the coffee world.

There will be snacks as well as a tasting of each of these special coffees.
