Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee. Come celebrate coffee's roots, as we spend an evening learning about Ethiopia's coffee history, it's current state, and see an Ethiopian coffee ceremony first hand. If you haven't seen one, it's one of the singular most powerful things I have participated in. The coffee is roasted right in front of you, ground, and brewed, just like it has been done for hundreds of years. It's an amazing thing to be a part of, and very few people get to experience it.
We will also be brewing our Ethiopian coffee, so you can see the quality of the coffee today, which is my favorite because of it's intense fruity flavor, and rich aroma. This class will be limited to 30 people, so RSVP soon! Special guests will be Alex and Tigest Ayalew, from Meskerem in Charlotte, along with other Ethiopian guests.
