Say what?

Last summer, three passionate coffee lovers (known as Wilma's Wish Productions) kicked off a journey to learn what it takes to make a "good cup of coffee." Then in February 2008, a larger film crew traveled to Guatemala to learn what it was like for coffee producers and different issues surrounding fair trade and sustainability.

Wilma’s Wish Productions compiled this information in a fun, animated, fast-paced, thoughtful introduction to a feature-length version, which will be completed in the fall of 2009. As a final product, “The Bean Scene,” feature length will thoroughly examine different methods and steps of the coffee process and the ethical repercussions of each decision that a consumer can make, while paying homage to idiosyncratic, upbeat coffee cultures.

This event will be PWYC at the door. We will be rounding up some panel discussions at several events to expound on the topic of coffee. We are showing this film to get feedback from coffee lovers everywhere. There will be a q and a period at the end of each screening.

Wilma's Wish Productions are a team of determined filmmakers and coffee lovers and clearly we're not slowing down the momentum! Many of you may have friends or yourselves already been interviewed in this funky documentary! (NB: previously titled "Coffee Connection") I foresee many happy reunions!
