Event Description
The first RBC of the 2011 cycle has been announced! The NWRBC will take place on Jan 28-Jan 30th, 2011 and will be hosted by Dillanos (www.dillanos.com).

The National USBC Competition will take place in conjunction with the 23rd annual SCAA Exposition and Symposium in Houston, TX April 27th – May 1st 2011. There are three rounds of judging at the national event: the preliminary round, the semi-finals, and the finals. Competitors who advance to the finals will compete against six of the most highly skilled baristas in the country for the title of 2011 United States Barista Champion. The winner will represent the United States at the World Barista Championship, which will be held in Bogota, Colombia June 2-5, 2011.

Hmmm it's Dec 10th and still no registration information available, especially cost to compete. I realize coming soon is relative, but the Event is coming soon! Makes it rather tough to plan for...
