Dallas' very own Barista Party/Jam/Throwdown/Awesome Time Event . . . Start the Fire! For long enough Texas has dwindled at the edge of the known coffee universe, belittled by Northwesterners, forgotten by Easterners, and feared by Southerners. Now we will start the fire of specialty coffee in the Heart of Texas - and it's gonna be awesome. Like any good barista jam, we'll have Heather Perry discussing some of the finer points of barista technique, followed by Danny and Sherri Johns sharing business tips garnered from over 20 years in the coffee industry opening shops from Malaysia to Guatemala. And of course . . . a latte art throwdown with copious amounts of beer.

Hey Texas Baristi, We are excited to come see what is happening in the Texas Coffee Community. Last year was a super turn out for the Ultimate Barista Challenge in Houston. Texas is on the map for coffee. Austin Ultimate Barista Lorenzo Perkins, earned top awards in Beijing at the UBC China. See you at the Throwdown!!
