Its a Cafe, its a Lube shop... What do you think? Yeah they are seperated by a wall so there isn't coffee in the oil or oil in the coffee... Well I work there and its great so far. I work with some great people, most of which this is there first time working with coffee. The owner actually doesn't know much about coffee so he is relying on me and a couple of others to be his knowledge base and its really fun. Its the first time I get to be the one who knows the most which is a little bit intimidating but mostly exciting.

Hi! Is this for Ron in WI? I met him at SCAA. He wound up going a different direction with his POS system but I always thought this was a unique concept.
Tell him Mike from SelbySoft said hi!
I think that is a wonderful idea! Lord only knows that a cuppa would be great while I am waiting. Do you have a concierge that parks the cars after the lube so the folks can stay and enjoy? Is it all on the Oil tab?
A great idea!!

we had a cafe in Seattle called Bikes and Brew where you could get your bike repaired and grab a cuppa joe...people got weirded out about the two smells potentially intermingling, BUT you have a wall, and a very cute name...kinda sexy, no?
name si crepppppppyyyyyyy

idea could work. think soccer and hockey moms too busy skinning a moose to stop long.
Moose skinnin'! So much more time in the day if not for moose troubles!Add coffee and life is sweet! Anyone here been to Choke in LA?

Yeah thats the place, Ron from Wisconsin. The oil guys do park the customers' cars. They have to pay seperately though, thats not a bad idea though, I'm sure the owner weighed the pros and cons of it, he's very thurough. I actually just got back from Florida and feel out of the loop, I even missed the grand opening...
That concept rocks! I would be all over that if that was here! Reminds me of a spa in Denver that's part of a auto repair shop, named Body Work or something like that.
Wow. I so wish my local quickie-lube place had a espresso bar attached.

Sounds kinda like Quaker Steak and Lube... which I honestly though was going to serve burgers while you wait for an oil change. The fact that they don't really confused me... but the wings are good so I haven't thought TOO much about the name.

What I really want to know is has anyone tried a weekends-only coffee cart at the local soccer fields?
