The evening of Thursday, Feb 7 - an MARBC pre-competition run-through will be held at Aldo in Mt. Lebo. There's still a need for some sensory judges (more than likely Ryan, Todd, Rich and Frank will handle the technical judging).

Those of you who did it last year know the drill: the sensory judges take turns judging each contestant and you'll be tasting at minimum a shot of espresso, a capp and a signature drink - more than likely two of each.

Aldo has three competitors going this year. It's possible there may be others from another shop joining us for the run through (Pittsburgh will have at least five MARBC competitors this year... whoo hooo!!!!)

If you're interested in judging, drop a reply here or send an email to Aldo (y'all know the address). You're also invited to just hang out and watch - although the bar setup isn't great for spectator sport purposes. But we'll have some beers sitting around. Will post here and send out an email to confirm shortly beforehand.
