Hi all, I'm new here and I have a question about private party bookings. Specifically, I'm wondering if any of you do that with your shops and if so, what type of programs you offer. What is a reasonable price per hour? Does that include drinks, or are drinks on top of a base rate?

We've been in the Drive Thru "only" business 6 years and have just opened our first inside dining venture and have already been approached. Any feedback or input is appreciated!

We do this on a case-by-case basis, one will come along for us every couple of months.
I'll have to check on our current hourly rate, it depends on which day and how many people. About 50-75 bucks an hour sounds familiar.
Base rate includes drip coffee (we'll brew a couple of airpots) and iced tea. We typically do a discount on bar drinks, maybe 10%. Some groups run a tab and the host pays, others do a cash bar.
We've also done food, sometimes meetings with bagel/muffin trays and even a full app bar once. Just work your pricing using your usual margin and call it good. It is a good idea to use your normal product for these events, as it will be some peoples' first impression of your shop.
We do hang a "Private Party" sign in the window, which has helped avoid some of the confusion.
Typically these events have been held by a customer and attended by many non-customers. We usually do get a couple of new customers out of the deal.

That's how we do it. Looking forward to other responses here.
