Back in the spring, my boss and I started sampling new espresso blends for our shop and we found a great four-bean blend that I had thought would be perfect for summer. It bursted with big cranberries and had a very juicy body/feel. I figured it would be the perfect espresso for iced americanos and lattes or even just as a single shot on a hot, summer day.
So my question is that I'm wondering if any of you guys are using a "summer seasonal" espresso blend at your shop? If so, why do you feel it's great for these sunny days and what characteristics make it pop in the dog days of summer? Also (if you feel open) what beans are you using to make up the blend (or maybe you even found a great S.O.)?
Hope to hear from all of you!
