Barista Training in Toronto, Canada Area.
Hi, I wanted to apply to a position at a Second Cup and they required that I passed the Certified Sales Associate Exam and meet all Barista Qualifications - Barista Oral Exam - Barista Practical Exam. How do I complete these requirements? And is there any place in the Toronto, Ontario area? Any help would be great Thanks!

The exam that you were told about is purely a Second Cup exam. Their standards are their own and don't measure up to accepted SCAA standards. Ask the person you were talking with how to access the web site and sign in to take their course.
My next suggestion would be to look for work elsewhere. You won't learn anything much about coffee working for any of the big chains.
I happen to live four minutes from one, but I work to my own standards as best as I'm allowed to. The choice of coffee for espresso drinks is not one that I would select, and so, I refuse to drink it there any more.
