Conscious Cup is moving! We are building a new Roastery and Cafe, over the next 40 or so days we will be doubling in size, adding a kitchen, adding a cupping/demo lab, a stage and much more seating. Every day I'll be posting an image of our progress.

I'm also uploading more detailed photos on my Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/jason.shipley1

The physical building is just a small part of building a shop. We've been working hard at updating our logo and retail design. Above is the draft of our logo. Below are some concepts for packaging.

OK I am not sure how this happened and I am sorry. What I meant to say was great logo and packaging and the design is awesome. I go back and forth on sleeves and cups. Do you really need to put a sleeve on a latte, cappuccino, mocha or a hot chocolate- probably not. So you have the extra cost of a sleeve. I know there are cups with smaller minimums.

This is looking down from the front of the bar into the roasting area. Oh and all the colors for the logo and packaging have changed.... again. I'll post some of the new stuff later

This is the new color for the logo. I think it's a bit more coffee feeling than the blue/red

Passed rough inspection.... Next week is a big week! Drywall goes in ceiling and Floors get done it moves fast from here.
Your framer suffers from dyslexia, he has the metal on the floor and the wood on the ceiling... :) Or wait, maybe my guy is ass backward... nice job, like the table samples... moving right along.

Oh and thanks for the sleeve heads up, dealing with Donna at Britevison. my order will be for two pallets... so she owes you...

Actually, so do I ... I am getting your price which is 25% below their published prices. She has my artwork and is putting something together for me.

NOW... about those coffee bean bags... pretty please...

Marek
The soffit is hung from the beams, it's just easier to get square with wood than metal, the GC asked me and then begged the building department.

glad you got hooked up with Britevision I cant wait to get my first shipment of sleeves.

Are you looking fore burlap coffee sacs for decoration? We can probably work something out, email me.
So we are running a few days behind, Here's some new stuff. It looks like we'll finish about 4 days behind.

Hi Brian;

Love the fact thAt you are constantly cleaning your fit out. All looks good, good thing you're using the ceramic tiles on the wall ... Those little suckers are slippery and brittle ... Three thousand miles is a log way to go for a cup of good coffee... But thinking about it ...

Marek
congrats on the build-out
Sweet.....
I'm glad you got help. It took me working mostly alone with some occasional hired help just over a year for a mini version of what you have going.
Joe

We opened Tuesday the 13th, not too far behind schedule all things considered. Our art will be in early next week then I'll take a bunch more pictures.
