I am writing today to let everyone know that I am starting my book of italian coffee and its traditions. I have been inspired since I just finished writing a book for my grandfather, dedicated to our region in Italy.

I would like to express my passion and need to represent the italian traditons since I am from southern italian from Basilicata. There is so many ways and tradtions of coffee, which I believe is at the heart of each country that choose to undertake in coffee.

As well I do not want anyone to think ill of this effort here. I am not trying to think that the only way is italian or even if it is the best, but rather to present a piece of the coffee pie as you will. I suppose my feelings towards the american way and even hearing that some coffee places have distaint for the italian way, can be fuel for my fire. I am human so I try not to think so rashly of it.
