We use Epson Printers, you can use either a serial port version or a USB version. With CSM you can choose to automatically print receipts for all orders, or only print on request. You can also print end of sales... summary, etc. to the printer... or a neat little feature is a cash summary slips $1'2 x $5's x... etc... We've been using CSM for almost seven years now, have four shops and we give it a pretty good work out... no issues, good customer support.

i saw on the coffee shop manager website they have a new printer that prints out stickers, has anyone used this yet?

That might be a new ithaca printer. We recently started carrying one for our pod software that acts like a thermal but has a posit style sticky on it. Cool printer that allows you to easily replace writing on cups. I don't see any reason why it would not work on csm as it can emulate a star

Ditto about SS answering CSM inquiry... but (sorry Softie) I have to say, I really like the graphic layout of CSM over SS... just a personal thing.
