Cup Of Excellence?
Let's say hypothetically a small roaster labels a coffee Cup Of Excellence when it wasn't even entered into the program? I feel as if this is misrepresentation at it's worst and the coffee was horrible. Can a roaster just claim it is COE? It wasn't cheap and the poor quality lead me to investigate the false claim.
Who deals with these sorts of things? It has to have happened before. I believe in the program and while it isn't perfect, this seems practically fraudulent to me.

Sounds like you're referring to more than a hypothetical scenario. Have you approached the hypothetical small roaster and gotten their side of the story?
