Hello!
My name is Jared Muscat and I am working to open a small family owned coffee shop in Leucadia, California. We are currently within weeks of opening, the only hang up being our orders of Espresso, Cappuccino, Latte, Mocha, Coffee, and Tea cups. We are opening under the same ownership of the nextdoor surf shop, Surfy Surfy, and there is a great deal of anticipation. Thus, I expect our opening week to be well packed. This is my first time opening a coffee shop, so I ask those with more experience, what quantities of cups you order for both dine-in and to-go styles.

For the to go cups I would start with a case of each size thats 1000 12 oz and 1000 16 oz the 20 oz is packed 500 this should do for a few days at least and will give you time to react if you start to run out. At my coffee shop most people want the to go cup even if its for the dining room. that way they have the option to take it with them. That said I do have 10 of each size on the top of espresso machine ready to go and I have never been short a size.
I use 500 med 500 small and 1000 large in average week.
