Greetings.! I bought a DeLonghi EC140B and now I'm making nice shots out of mostly light roast espresso from my local roaster. It seems to be a great unit, but there is no included backwasher hole-less piece. The manual recommends running some basic acid product through the machine and using mild detergent to clean the basket parts.
I find this machine makes very good shots, but clearly its important to keep all parts in clean order. I just drink straight shots and they need to taste right as I am not masking the flavor with any milk or sugar.
Can anyone suggest some tips about seasoning and cleaning the machine, or the best way to clean the rubber gasket?
