What beans make up your favorite espresso recipe? Come on guys...give it up!

For me - I've been toying around with these:
Columbian - 50%
Ethiopian Yirga Cheffe - 20%
Sumatra - 20%
Guatemalan - 10%

What do you like???

Hey, Chris! That sounds like a blend that would be right up my alley! I've been profiling a blend that's:

Mexican (natural process) - 50%
Sumatran - 30%
Brazil (semiwashed), or Bolivian -10%
Eth. Sidamo (natural process) - 10%

Though I'm not cerified organic as of yet, all the beans listed here are. I roast the Mex. and Brazil (or Bolivian, haven't decided yet) to a medium degree, the Sumatran to a medium-dark, and the Eth. Sid. to a light-medium.

Great conversation topic, and good luck to you!
I believe each of those coffees probably has a peak roast level to bring out it's best qualities. So the roast of each origin has to be considered also. My espresso blend is made from different Mexican regions, each brought to a different roast level before blending, but that's because green coffee from other countries is not available here.
I want to get my hands on some good Bolivian greens. Suggestions?
