Hello,

I'm looking to place some grinders in our high end coffee shop in the $100 price point. What is the best grinder for that dollar range. Looking for strickly burr grinders, and the quieter the better for home use. Right now I'm considering a Baratza Meastro.

Thanks!

Yeah the lower end Baratza models would be a nice fit as would the Capresso Infinity. Actually have owned one of the metal version Infinity grinders and it works well. Not espresso specific, but a great all-around grinder for the $$$. Also, don't leave out the hand mill option as I much prefer hand grinding over pushing a button on a home level. Some of the higher quality hand mills can actually hang with grinders costing hundreds more and will without question trump any of the cheaper electric grinders.
Can you point me towards some good hand grinder wholesalers?
I wouldn't totally write off carrying the Bodum whirly chop, sold a number of them. For home brewing, especially auto-drip, far better to whirly chop the coffee fresh for each brewing than have it pre-ground. And some (many, most?) people who haven't started grinding at home at all will be far more likely to spring for a $30ish dollar whirly chop than $100 entry level burr grinder.

Agree the Infinity is a decent entry level burr grinder, their wholesale minimums are not. Baratza much more willing to work with you and products and support good.
I will second both the recommendation on the Capresso Infinity (as Shadow posted) and the difficulty in dealing with them for wholesale (as Mike posted).
