Hey everyone!

I am looking into purchasing group head cleaning brushes and am unsure of the quality of the options on the market. Do any of you have feedback on the longevity and usefulness of these brushes? How often do you use them? After every few drinks? Only at closing? Etc.

Thanks.

I happen to like the Pallo one... mostly because it has a super long handles so you can scrub the screens with water flowing without burning your fingers. I scrub our screens and gaskets whenever possible during a shift - several times at least.
Buy them, use them often, you really can't clean too much
To be honest, we only use ours at the end of the day. Perhaps we are more anal about how clean the PF is before it gets locked into the machine, but we have very little coffee on the gaskets at the end of the day. Also, flushing the machine (we have a HX machine so this is necessary) frees the screens of any coffee from the previous shot. A couple times a shift I take a towel and just quick wipe the screen, but that's about it. We backflush with Cafiza at noon-2:00 and at 1:00a (we are open from 7:00a-2:00a) and backflush with water all throughout the day.

I also support the Pallo one because of what Brady mentioned, but also, you can buy replacement bristles instead of a whole new brush. And that little scoop on the end is handy for making sure your baristas know how much to put in the blank.
