I have started a Poll asking the question, "How Many Cups of Coffee Do You Drink Per Day?"

You can answer here in the comments or on the Poll's Official Page to participate.

The Choices are:

(a) 1-3 Cups
(b) 3-5 Cups
(c) 5-7 Cups
(d) Cups? I Drink Pots!
(e) I don't drink coffee.

Looking forward to hearing you answers.

Thanks!

Do have a question... I sip probably 20 shots of espresso a day, don't finish all of them, but taste each one... how does that fall?

I would say 5-7 cups.

If a cup is 8 oz. i drink about 2 cups per day on average. Though i take drinks of almost every batch that i make, especially when switching origins, just to re-acquaint myself with it. Same goes for espresso. I drink 3 or so espresso drinks per day. However you quantify how much coffee that is. On average, i'm pulling a 19gr. 1.5 oz. espresso. I also pull around 10 espresso's per day and don't swallow them.

Is "unquantifiable" an option for an answer?
ya I think I would go with 2 on that as well.

I drink about 3 shots of espresso in the morning, plus 1 mug of regular coffee in the afternoon. Even though that's 4 drinks, my guess is 1-2 cups for the amount of liquid.
Normal weekdays are a single 8oz cup (20-25 grams), two if it's a rough one. If I roasted a few batches, there's whatever I drink while cupping. But usually no espresso.

Weekends run as high as 6 shots plus cupping.
Two breve cappucinos per day, 3 on weekends. Any more these days and I start seeing stars. I used to be able to drink coffee all day and night. Not anymore. My tastes have changed and now my wife lovingly calls me a coffee snob because I can't drink the swill at restaurants.
I am still in the drink coffee all day and night stage. I hear ya on the restaurant coffee for the most part though there have been some local businesses that carry the Roasterie Coffee, a local roaster, here in Kansas City and it's far from swill.
