I am looking for an old school paddle group la marzocco gs (either two or one group, though I'd be open to other options).... I really want one that needs a lot of work because I have an itch to do a "summer hot rod" project on a machine. Anyone have any leads? Anyone have an old gs they are willing to part with?

thanks man... unfortunately, it looks as if they are already rebuilding this one... and part of the draw of rebuilding an old one is that it might not cost 10 grand in the end.

I kind of thought you would say that. They are rebuilding it, and it is gonna be sweet, but it is also gonna be $10,000
Crap. I thought this said, "I WANT GAS!!!!" I had lots of recommendations for that, but the GS, nope. Sorry. ;-)
Dominy, you are hilarious... Hope that all the Dillworth crowd is having fun throwing down... let me know if you find anyone who is willing to part with the vintage la marzocco

Will do buddy! Have fun out there!
Hey Chris. Sorry I didn't get to see you at WBC. Give me a call sometime. EspressoParts loves to work on these as well and have been building stock. Not sure we would be willing to part with any we already own but if you give us more details on the condition and price you are looking for we can let you know what we find in our searches as there are some machines we do pass on.
