What color is the espresso when it starts? and how fast does it take to turn a Blonde color?
Oh and another thing...how old is the spro you're using? One time I had a lot of trouble pulling De-caf shots. It would come out slow like you described no matter the grind. Turned out the spro was really old. All the oils had essentially evaporated out of the bean leaving nothing to really extract.

First let your machine install and check by qualified technician, also let the experience barista handle and calibrated the grind to espresso machine, check also the bioler and water pressure from gauge and how it work, beacause there's alot of factor before you will see what really the problem..and don't get frustrated this will test you for being a coffee lover..hehehe,hope it will help..TC
