Other than a single posting at Peace coffee and an inactive twin cities coffee group, Barista Exchange hasn't had much for this region of the midwest. Does anyone know of anyone hiring in the Twin cities? I've thrown my resume at some places with mixed results. (I'm currently tweaking it some more.)

Any tips for finding and applying at places that are genuine? I'm pretty fresh; I've had some very limited experience as a barista over where I'm from (North Dakota). I've got a solid work-ethic, I try to absorb as much as I can about the industry and I'm new; which means I'd be easy to train since there's nothing for me to unlearn.

I'm really keen on the roasting side of things even if that means sweeping up grinds and making sure batches come out according to specifications, It's vital knowledge and a good experience.
