So at the shop I work we are getting more and more into latte art and for just plain necessity purposes we need new pitchers. I was thinking about surprising the baristas with some really good grade pitchers, with good art spouts. I have done a fair amount research and have found some really nice Alessi Latte Pitchers. They are Europa style, and they are high grade stainless steel, I was just wondering if anyone new where I could find them for less than the $120 I found on visionespresso.com. I'm not complaining about the cost, just curious if any one knows of a place where I may be able save a little cash.

Thanks for any advice,
Chris

I agree with kyle, the best art I ever saw came from an espressoparts pitcher. for $120 I would want it to pour for me.
Ditto to what's been said above. We use rattleware brand straightsided pitchers, with pretty fantastic results. We have found that the straightsided gives a more intuitive pour than the bell shaped or Europa style pitchers, but see if you can't stop by a local coffee shop supply and try out a couple of different styles to see what fits best for you. Congrats on upping your game!
Just to kind of echo what Lorenzo said, I think the best advice one could give would be to get a few different styles and see what ones seem to perform best for different baristas. I know personally, I hate the Europa style pitchers, I'm alright with the spouted bell pitchers, but honestly just prefer the old standard "spouted latte art" pitcher because it's so familiar to me. This is the approach I took when getting some new tampers a while back, I grabbed a bunch of different Reg handles and let people decide which ones fit their grips the best. In the end we got 4 different handles for 9 different baristas, but it was their reward for sticking with the cafe through thick and thin so I was okay with it.

thanks to all the replies, I like what I found at espresso supply, and it's a quality site. I was just a little curious. I'm honestly pretty new to upgrading the shop and I just don't want to crazily overspend. I'm glad to hear that others get great results from less expensive equipment. Again thanks.
