Ok, So apparently I'm the only one... When I click "send a message" on someone who's not my friend I get nothing. When it's someone who is my friend, I click "send a message" and I get the message form. Then When I write a message and click "send" it doesn't do anything.

so a month and a half later I'm still having this problem... Yes i've contacted site support. No answer. weird.

Hi Ryan,

 

Sorry that you've had issues using the site, and that one of us hasn't resolved this yet.  The Ning "report issues" function leaves a little to be desired.  Sorry that your problem fell through the cracks.

 

Having any other site-related issues?  What browser are you using?  Are you running any sort of script-blocker?

 

Is anyone else having issues?

 

We'll get this figured out.

BTW, Ryan, "site support" is us on the bX moderation team, not one of the programmers or techs from Ning.  I'm happy to escalate this problem for you, but would like to have a little more information for the next-level of support guys before I contact them.  I'll contact them once I hear back from you.

wow, I think that did it. I had ad blocker plus on mozilla, somehow it became part of a block list I subscribe to. so... Thanks very much. You're a good guy.

You're welcome.  Glad this fixed it.

 

I love the Scriptblocker and Adblocker plugins for Firefox, but they can be really annoying to tweak.  It is sometimes interesting seeing exactly how many different entities have content on a given page though.  For example, this page has content from 7 different entities.

 

Please let us know if there are any other issues.
