Are you passionate about coffee? How about social media? A cool job that combines the two? Yes? Then we want you to join the Roast team to help us spread our love of all things specialty coffee.
We’re looking for an experienced digital content manager who can help us expand our social media presence, work with our publisher to develop a digital strategy, and create original content for Roast and Daily Coffee News. With proven success in digital editing and content creation and proficiency in digital analytics, we’ll count on you to:
- Manage and increase engagement on social media platforms, aligning content across platforms
- Work with our publisher to create and implement a digital strategy to increase Roast’s digital presence and traffic across all platforms to align with business goals
- Monitor, analyze and distribute digital metrics to our team
- Create and manage content for publication across Roast and Daily Coffee News channels with a combination of your own writing and collaboration with industry experts
- Represent Roast at industry trade shows and events in the U.S. and internationally, and cover these events for publication in Roast or Daily Coffee News
You’ll need to have:
- Proven work experience as a digital editor, with a portfolio of published work
- Strong copywriting and editing skills
- Experience in visual content (photography and/or graphic design)
- Proficiency with SEO, social analytics and publishing tools
- Ability to meet deadlines, communicate and collaborate as part of a team
- Readiness to travel to industry events within U.S. and internationally
- Specialty coffee industry experience a huge plus+++
