"Wrestling with Starbucks" by Kim Fellner is an interesting read. She's a labor organizer dissecting the many angles one can take on almost every aspect of Starbucks and their way of doing things. It's pretty well balanced, not just a rant about corporate tendencies, but not too forgiving either. Also, Howard Behar's book "It's not about Coffee" is an interesting look at the business end of things. I don't think either is at all like "my sister's a barista" although I haven't read it, but they are about the SBUX
there's a book called Starbucked you should check out. I don't know what My Sisters a Barista is about, but Starbucked might give you something to think about! Good luck...there's just too many books :)
Thanks for your recommendations :)
