You should have a meter that measures that Bars of pressure, and it should be set around 9. If its not, then you can adjust it via the pump itself.

Thanks, but I tried that...maybe not enough. I really just need someone with more experience to see what I'm doing wrong. =0(

When you adjusted the pump, how did that affect the pressure readout?

Also, your grind isn't way too fine is it? Seems like you would have picked up on this (and I see that you mentioned you adjusted the grind), but just figured I would throw it out there. Water comes out of the PF if there is no coffee in it, yes?

Either you aren't getting enough pressure or you have too fine a grind/too much coffee in the basket.

I have seen new shops just built out get rocks and dirt in the water lines. That impede the water flow. Disconnect your water line and make sure you have good pressure going to the machine. Also check the machine for clogged lines. Make sure you can hear the water pump turn on the espresso machine when pulling a shot. Also make sure your espresso grind is not to fine. good luck.
