I'm responding to the Ambrose Tham question about the San Franciscan SF-6 small batch roaster. Our SF-6 has been the backbone of our entire operation in Middletown, CT. We have an awesome relationship with the owner of the company, Bill Kennedy, who makes the machine by hand in Fallen, Nevada. He walked us through our first roast in my garage, watched us launch a new company that has now gone commercial and receiving rave reviews for the consistent high end quality of coffee we are roasting, and finally has been there on the line to guide us through the extremely easy maintenance that is required to keep the machine running properly. We were hooked up with Dave Fafara from Shenandoah Joe's Coffee Roasters in Charlottesville, VA to get trained on the machine as we wanted some hands on guidance. Roastmaster Dave also raves about his 25 pounder which we will be stepping into in the near future as our business is growing. I love our 6 pounder so much I'm fighting with my partners to keep it on the floor to use on our high end specialty estate grown roasts. I'm excited I did the research prior to purchasing this roaster. Whether we are doing a quick 30 pound session or a marathon 150 pound session, our SF-6 delivers the same quality roasts time and time again. As I recently told Bill, I can't imagine expanding our company with anything other than a San Franciscan. I hope this helps give some insight into the San Franciscan SF-6 small batch roaster. Please feel free to call or send me an e-mail with any further questions (tim@zenroasters.com or 860-759-5259)
Thank you Timothy! I did connect with Bill too. Thank you for your feedback.
