What coffee have you NOT tried before? Why not? (bean, farm, or brew method)

I've never had Turkish style coffee before ... I don't like the grittiness of it, but since I've never tried it ... how do I know it's gritty?

Its not. You should try it.

I've never tried Vietnamese coffee or Toddy... just from a lack of attempting or ordering a place where it was offered.

As far as coffees go, I've not had Kopi Luwak... just not all that interested.

I think I will try Turkish, thanks for the motivation.
I can't believe I forgot about Kopi Luwak ... haven't had that either, not interested either.
Not had Vietnamese. Turkish is wonderful, Kopi was very smooth and unique. Not something I would drink daily, even if I could afford it.

Thanks for the comment Peter. I've had Vietnamese, but for the life of me can't recall it, so I have a feeling it didn't leave much of an impression.
I'm probably going to get in trouble for saying this, but I've tried Jamaican Blue mountain from several different roasters ... and I just don't get it, it's nothing special to me ... I actually think it's too earthy.
I had Jamaican Blue too...once. Threw the whole bag away after that cup.

Blue Mountain is just "meh" to me. I've had it a few times, we used to special-order it from a local roaster to drink on Christmas morning, back before I started working bar. We enjoyed it, but I recall it being more smooth and mellow than anything else... hardly worth the giant premium as I think about it.

I do get a little irked when people (on rare occasion) stop in, look over our selection of decent coffees, and then trash us for NOT carrying Blue Mountain. "You know, its the best coffee in the world" in the most condescending tone imaginable. Nevermind that our PNG Org is generally every bit as smooth and sweet that the Blue Mountain was supposed to be... only at a better price...

But I digress...
Been a while since I checked this discussion, but have you tried Organic Honduras before? I've just had some from Caffe Calabria and it's SO good. My all time favorite used to be Costa Rica Laminita Tarrazu ... heavenly.

I've never tried anything out of an aeropress...no one serves it around here.  All the decent cafes in the area do hand pour or french press, though that seems to be going out of style.  Heard the aero makes a good cup though.

 

One thing I HAVE tried though is Barako coffee.  Only grown in the Philippines and is distinct from arabica and robusta.  Not to be confused with Filipino civet beans.  Thought you'd be interested:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kape_Barako.

I liked it and it was definitely unique, but I'd have to try from other roasters to get a good picture of it.  

Never tried a coffee enema. Too embarrassed to order it. (yes, I'm in 7th grade. Why do you ask?)

My buddy dailydemitasse really loves her aeropress.

 

I'll have to see if anyone locally carries the Barako coffee and check it out :-)

I heard they can be very beneficial but you can't do them too often LOL.
