Not sure if this helps, but I am in the process to start a cafe and faced this situation as to what supplier of bakery goods to use...I have been googling "Wholesale bakery goods (city)" and have come across several suppliers. I then contact them and set up a tasting appointment and also ask for references. Speak to some of their customers to find out how they like their products. Also, you may want to find a provider who is not used by competitors, to gain a competitive advantage. Since I'm new to this I am not sure if there are other ways to go about this...if so, would love to hear from others.
