Mini what? Mazzer? Who'd pair an FB-80 with a Mazzer Mini?
No, I'll sell the Astoria to Serena, as it already matches a Mini. Then I'll paint my Majors to match the FB-80 in whatever colour it comes in and buy it with the proceeds! ; >
So, what does a 'sweet deal' on an FB-80 sound like, anyway?

Great Serena, ...Perhaps a FB-80 with custom paint to match a mini?

Thanks Serena, that's great. I talked with Jason S. last night and he would like to get together and meet as well. If anyone is interested in attending a casual dinner to discuss ideas please email me directly at: Mikefunk@firecreekcoffee.com and I'll try set something up that works for everyone.

Great Idea Chris. I am a local reseller for La Marzocco, -used to be LMs sales manager for the SW. I called Seattle today and they may be able to help us with a loaner, especially if I can sell it for a discount right after. ...Who wants a sweet deal on a new La Marzocco?

Jason is a good guy, And deserves our thanks for stepping up to the plate. I don't thing any one thought that the the SWRBC would be pulled, in any case let's move forward and myabe have a meeting or dinner to discuss next steps.

I kinda just did that, Tom. I could be wrong ('cuz this is just a feeling) but it felt like Jason S. wanted to bear the burden by himself, as the BGA Rep, and didn't take advantage of all of the State's, as well as the region's, resources.
Unless he lets us know what went awry, we may never know.
I can wire and plumb a machine. I could wrangle up one set of xBC standard machinery, and my Argenta two group, plus a coupla Majors. I may be able to convince the local LM distributor to come up with a machine. No one asked the Slayer guys if they'd like to show up with a machine.
How many businesses represented here would have donated time, cash, or resources that weren't asked to participate?

I agree with you guys. I'm down to try and get a group going that could function to form events and more in the name of supporting the AZ coffee world.

Thanks Tom and Steve and all for last night! That was a lot of fun.

I think you maybe on to something with that Mike. Should we pose that question on Arizona-Coffee under the "SWRBC Cancelled" thread?

I'll Second That!!

It was a great Jam, Many Thanks to Steve, Tom and the all the great folks at Press.

I can't wait to do this again, what do you guys think of doing a full blown competition, anyone up for forming a group to explore this?
