I start a discussion (because nobody does it so far) about the barista competition. Do you thing that is worth to train people for something that they not do in they ordinary work? I mean everybody has to make good shots with a latte art garnish but they don’t have to explain what they do and to be that careful about cleaning. Perhaps if somebody doesn’t make it in the finals he doesn’t have the psychology to continue improve his work. What do you think about it?
