Been enjoying the experiments of a home-brewing fanatic who is a regular at the espresso lab as of late. Don't have many details on the beers he drops off, but man, trading capps for bottles is where it's at, let me tell you.

Right now I'm enjoying some of his blackberry blonde ale. The way the flavors balance is incredible.

Bry,
If my tips will support it i will bring you a growler on New Year's day. I'm not sure how many gold medals this has won. Their hanging on the wall at the pub. By the way, I miss typed. I meant to say " I want to see the look on you face" after you taste this brew.
Spell check won't help the illiterates.

I'd be curious to see how it stacks up against "Dragon's Milk" from New Holland Brew Co., which is a bourbon barrel aged ale. I'll let you know.

An Imperial IPA brewed in celebration of being erect for two million years. Special batches: Big Phat Homo (dry-hopped) and My Old Kentucky Homo (bourbon barrel aged). 2005 North American Beer Awards Silver Medal.

Tried a Founders Backwoods Bastard last night. It was fun: kind of like drinking malty whiskey. Split it with a friend. Not sure if I'd love a whole bottle.

Currently in love with everything I've tried from Pretty Things. If you get a chance, check 'em out!
