havent heard much in the way of a latte art/jam/crawl/barista event this month or next month. anyone know of anything?
there's a latte art throwdown in vancouver on feb 13th, that we can all carpool to and crash. but wouldnt it be nice to do something locally? *nudge*

Howdy! Is anybody interested in doing a barista exchange with the other Washington (Washington, D.C.) in spring or summer for maybe a month or a couple of weeks. I work at Tryst we work VERY closely with Counter Culture coffee, and there are lots of super fun coffee and non coffee related events frequently. We are currently doing a monthly Thursday night throwdown and it's going strong. Right now everybody (including myself) is busy preparing for the Mid Atlantic Barista Competition. I'm thinking of applying to evergreen, but I'd like to spend a little time in Oly first. email me at efedden@gmail.com
