Hello everyone! I am new to this group and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Michelle and I work in the HR department at illy Caffe San Francisco. We have 5 locations in the financial district as well as 2 more Caffes opening on Montgomery St within the next month. Stop in and try our unique and delicious Italian coffee!

I would like to invite you to our Coffee Course, from Seed to Green in Dota/Costa Rica. 

 

The course is 7 days long, from Sunday to Saturday, and is totally hands on, you pick and mill your own coffee.

Hello Yay Area coffee enthusiasts. I'll try to keep this short. We're starting a worker owned cafe in South Berkeley, and we're pretty far along in our plans. We've got about 7 members and are looking for 2 or 3 more. We're called Alchemy Collective.

Us, in brief: Verve coffee, homemade syrups, chocolate sauce, and chai, interesting specialty drink menu (alchemists right?), good simple food menu, profit sharing, split manager tasks, cultural events (building a good size stage), brews on tap, barista training by Chris Baca (Yes, we're kind of going to be the best.)

Arianna, I think Ritual Coffee Roasters in SF is good. I have yet to try them, but I hear they are good.
