Hi all, I'm planning to open a shop in Central Arkansas and was looking for suggestions of good roasters in the area. I'm aware of Cafe' Darte and the roasters in the Northwest but didn't know if I should be thinking about roasters closer to where I am.

Suggestions please.

Cuvee Coffee in Austin Tx is amazing!!! Look for Mike Mckim here on the BX. They really do a great job.
There is also the Coffee Roasters of New Orleans. I wish I knew of someone in Arkansas but thoses guys are closer to you than the Northwest.
I have used Coffee Roasters of New Orleans for the last 4 years and they are great. Contact Bob or Tom.
Goshen Coffee Company is an all organic roaster in St. Louis, MO.
They ship to shops in Wisconsin, Indiana and Chicago.
Hi Jon, I was at the Coffee Symposium in Houston this week and there is a small roaster in San Antonio, Texas. They have done very well. You can get information at San Antonio Coffee Roasters
138 W. Rhapsody
San Antonio, Texas 78216
Phone: (210) 308-8882
Fax: (210) 308-8883

Let them know that Mi Mundo Imports/Cafe Don Vittorio gave you the info. I saw them at the symposium.

If you want a new product I have Cafe Don Vittorio from Costa Rica. We bring it in ready for market from San Jose, Costa Rica. BRAND NEW IMPORT!! Great taste. The coffee is from the Tres Rios region, better known as the Bordeaux of Costa Rica for coffee.

Good luck,
Claudia
Hello Jon!

I provide LED signs to many of the Coffee houses in Seattle and would like to show you how we can attract more business for you in Arkansas!

These signs have proven to increase foot traffic by as much as 150% These signs would pay for themselves in the first year you own them!

I would like for you to try our coffee. I am a roaster / distributor of coffee related stuff in Jackson, TN (about 3 hours east on I 40). Let me know more about your shop and how you are going to prepare your drinks. I am John and my phone number is 731-697-8080.
I would love to send you some samples of my roasting if you're interested. Contact me through my (website - look for upgrades soon). Of course I'm going to say that it's awesome stuff, but you can't take my word for it, can you? Here are some people to check out in the surrounding area.

Coffee Eiland (phone # is in Twitter profile and Brown Coffee Co.) are two incredible roasters here in Texas.

North Carolina has (Counter Culture), with their incredible Espresso Aficionado

Chicago has the fantastic (Intelligentsia), with their renowned Black Cat Espresso and incredible SO offerings.

The US is packed with great roasters just waiting to be discovered by your new shop. Try us all and find out for yourself!
Not sure how "close" close is, but I have really enjoyed and have respect for:

La Grange Roasters in La Grange, KY

La Terza Roasters in Cincinnati, OH

Sunergos Roasters right here in Louisville, KY

and

Pearland Roasters in Pearland TX

They are all smaller roasters that turn out GOOD coffee.
Thanks Kirk for the vote.

Jon,
Please email me at jeremy@pearlandcoffeeroasters.com if you would be interested in hearing more about us and talking about a wholesale account.

Incoming self plug!

We are new here in the Upstate SC area, but we are a roastery that specializes in rotating in and out small lots from various farms while keeping in a few regions year round.

We allow for custom roasting, allow our clients to pick a crop they want exclusively for themselves if they desire, and will blend espresso in any manner you desire (pre blending, post blending, double roasting, or anything crazy you can think of!) We also do exclusive blends for any wholesale customer willing to take the time to sit down and work on one with us.

Lastly, our coffee is always roasted as you order for wholesale customers, so its guaranteed fresh!

Contact me at lhudek@theoldworldcafe.com for any questions, and visit us at www.theoldworldcafe.com

Jon,

Are you looking for any custom printed coffee cups or coffee sleeves for your coffee shop.
