If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
no
Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I pull a pretty good shot of 'spro, if I do say so myself... others say so too. My latte art ain't bad. No matter what I do, I always manage to overstretch milk. I am anal-retentive/OCD about machine cleanliness to the point of getting teased about it at every barista gig I've ever had. I'm a bit out of practice of late, but I managed not to completely embarrass myself at the last TNT
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
I love scotch almost as much as I love espresso. Other passions include reading, music, yoga and urban cycling. Ask me about my last band... on second thought, don't.
I just moved from DC to Chicago and I'm looking for a (part-time) barista gig because coffee people are the best people around and food service jobs are the best way to meet interesting people in a new city. I also teach yoga, so if anybody knows any studios or health clubs looking to hire, do let me know!
About My Company:
I used to work at Open City (in Woodley Park, DC), li'l sister to Tryst (in Adams-Morgan, DC): restaurant/bar/coffee shop/lounge/dessert topping/floor wax
