Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

Home-roasting coffee is a passion for me. It has been said that I love to roast coffee even more than I love consuming the exquisite elixir, regardless of brewing method. Brewing / cupping coffee and writing that which is evoked is fun.

Most of the roasting is done these days with an RK Drum, but the following are also at the ready: various poppers, Zach & Dani's (now Nesco), Gene Cafe, Hottop Analog and a Behmor 1600.

About Me:

I am a husband of one and father of a four; only the youngest who is five years old is still at home. My wife is a full time wife and mother; my son and I are a full-time job. Currently, the majority of household income is generated by working in Regulatory Compliance in the energy sector.

We are active members of a non-denominational, Christian church, Church of the Good Shepherd. After moving in, we found out that we live next door to the pastor ...

Hobbies are just about anything that requires tools ... tools are a hobby too ...

Other hobbies include:
Nature and Birding and building bird feeders
Carpentry and wood working
Maintaining all of the mechanical stuff (cars, mowers, etc)
Working on the house, especially after hurricane Katrina
Enjoy gardening
Love NASCAR racing
Enjoy red wine and single malt scotch
Love riding my motorcycle
