Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I learned about the coffee industry while working as a barista in college. I recently graduated from Belmont University's Curb school of Entertainment and Music Business and am working as a videographer. Right now, I'm finalizing filming dates for a documentary that will seek to raise awareness about the lives of African growers and shed light on largely unseen side of the coffee most consumers take for granted. If you are a grower, supplier, shop owner, industry professional, roaster, consultant, etc, or know someone who is, living or working in Ghana, Ethiopia, Kenya, Zimbabwe, or Sudan drop me a line; I would love to hear your story.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Africa: Ghana, Kenya, Ethiopia, Sudan, Zimbabwe
United States: Nashville (TN), Dallas (TX), Louisville (KY)
Otherwise: e-mail me!

Welcome aboard, keep up the great work. Have you seen the Bellissimo DVD "The Passionate Harvest"? It was shot a few years back, in Ethiopia, Brazil, Guatemala, Kona ... I think you'd dig it.

I know a man named Belete Muturo who is from Ethiopia, but now lives in the US and works at Southeast Missouri State University. He also runs a non-profit organization that works with the children of coffee farmers, (along with other children) in southern Ethiopia. He has strong ties with Ethiopia and is very interested in its development. I would love to give you his email address should you need it.
