If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
maybe
Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
You'd experience a high paced cafe, full of energy and fun, lots of chit chatting with customers as they run off to work, some sit down visitors (we have 50 seats) and lots of creativity. Our customers love to see the heats in the milk or the creative toppings we add to their drink to make it special. Every to go drink leaves with a heart on top!
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Would love to travel all over! There is so much out there that I've never seen.
About Me:
Happily married for 7+ years, 2 kids, one is almost 12 and the baby just turned 2. Love to travel, go out to eat, drink coffee (go figure!), play games with friends, watch movies, go to the beach, and sometimes I just love to be at home! Love to watch the kids grow (sometimes its right before my eyes!)
About My Company:
We have two coffee businesses. One company is called Cafe Technologies. (www.cafetechnologies.com) where we help people all over the U.S. open coffee shops. The other business is our retail cafe called Brewed Awakening...both businesses keep me busy and are so much fun, I love getting to know so many people and putting that special heart or latte art on every drink!!!
At Cafe Technologies we provide specialty espresso and coffee brewing equipment, start up accessories, consulting and training. Our training packages are offered in two ways...
#1 is really popular for folks who are planning on getting into the coffee industry but they aren't quite sure its for them (not everyone is as coffee crazy as we are!!!) For this customer we offer a 3 day training/educational program where the last day of training you actually get to work in my cafe for a day! It gets you behind the counter and serving drinks and doing things a business owner would do (ordering, receiving goods etc).
#2 is great for someone who is about to open. We fly out to you, assist you with the last minute details of opening, train your entire staff, operate on a soft opening schedule and stay throughout opening day. Its great because you have us there when you need us the most. And after its all said and done we are just a phone call away.
Our on site training is done at our retail location called Brewed Awakening. Its a great community cafe where we offer specialty espresso based drinks, smoothies, a full breakfast menu including omelets and scrambles French toast etc as well as home made pastries, panini sandwiches and related lunch items.
Many of them are in the medical field. In fact they were here like a week ago or so. How big is Eugene ??? I don't know if u might know them as they are in their 60 or so, they are doctors or so.
Yeah I know, small world. And specially if u are in the coffee world. One off my best friends overthere is Jim Hayfield , he is a really cool old guy. hey do u skype?.
HOla HOla here is 10:45am as we speak, Im good getting ready to travel though. Hey do you chat on MSN hotmail.com or so???? Just checking. Do you guys still get some fog in the Valley , I love that.
I know it is so weird and cool at the same time, I remember those days that I will drive from Grant Pass to Portland and that was always the case. Im heading to several places, FL, GA,DC, CA and u never know OR. I travel a lot cause we have another business with my brother and the coffee business as well, so yeah Im always on the RUN. Would you be interested in helping us to open coffee shops in Guatemala??? I was reading you info, perhaps we can develop a new concept, but no Starb..........crap please. hahahaha
We have a hotel restauranta suppliyng company. we supply EVERYTHING you see in a hotel, everything. That's why I travel a looooooooot. well I have thought about the coffee shop but I dont have the know how, and I need someone that knows about it. yeah please check the site and go to VISIT THE PLANTATION and let me know.
Hi Tera,
Wanna be friends? I can't beleive we haven't met 'specially if you know javakenzo (Mr. Hall to me, thank you) If you're up in the Portlad area anytime, let's do a cupping and I'll stop in when I'm in Eugene. Pablo's Guat. thing sounds really interesting dosn't it?
Cheers, Steve
Yes, we specialize in 80+ point coffees from the Sol de Minas and Cerrado regions in Brasil and yes, we do ship all over from our Portland Warehouse, (We ship some from Eugene too, Alberto at Cafeto' is a long-time friend too) Ken and I go back to when we worked together at Portland Roasting and we still stay in close touch..all the people at Rancilio are great!
Hey Tera, I'm doing great and yes I opened my own place in Seattle. It is called Stickman Coffee. I'm no longer at Zoka it's been a few years. Sometimes I compete but, I'm usually to busy to compete. So I see you are judging in the ultimate barista competitions. How is that going? What else are you up to?
Yes Tera, coffee for me is a passion, not a business . People does not know the human value of it, or perhaps they don't know there is some. That's why I founded KG, a Guatemalan-American company to join both cultures and learn about each other. This year we are planning to start the coffee tours. You will love Guatemala indeed.
Hello Tera: Im glad u liked the song, that is so awesome and yes it is an awesome and special song. Im doing good, right now I'm in Florida in MIAMI. I will be here the entire week buying some equipment And then I'm heading to Atlanta. I will be heading after that to LA. I know crazy crazy.

Pablo

Im in MIAMI buying equipment for the hotel that is in Guatemala including a chopper and some coffee contacts . In fact I'm looking for Kafes Guatemala distributrors all over the U.S. as well. Hope you baby sleeps well.
Sure I can call you tomorrow. ciao ciao chica
Pablo
Im tired , had been driving all day, just got in to Orlando, putting everything together for my meetings. Can I call u know, i forgot about that today.
hello there, u never send me the other phone number?? remember, I'm about to move to another hotel, I hope you had fun with your friend, I guess it was a girl night ONLY, that is cool
My cell has been acting all weird so I'll hook you up with my new # when I get one...I don't use it often anymore and I don't have a home phone so you have the best way to get a hold of me...my work # and e-mail of course. It was a girls night only but not too long, we only had 1 drink, we just hadn't gotten together in a while and a lot can happen in a week!
