If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
maybe
Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
My expertise is in marketing and communications, but I pull shots every day and am deeply interested in improving my barista skills. Counter Culture's doors are always open to visitors, and we love to host coffee industry folks when they're in the area. Please note, however, that we don't have retail locations and therefore cannot offer shifts behind the bar.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
All of them!
About Me:
Here's an outline: Middle America; Liberal Arts; Scotland and Europe; New Orleans; Seattle and my first transporting espresso; Peace Corps Zimbabwe; Washington, DC; Food industry marketing and organizing urban farmer's markets; Working with amazing, passionate people at a North Carolina coffee roaster.
yep....i hate to think that we won't be able to catch up before that, but I will be there. Are you travelling much between then & now?
If you see me running around the Cafe be sure to flag me down as I tend to jump from task to task with my head down.....
Hey Mark, where were you working in Zim? I was teaching outside of Binga in '89 and '90-- I think I left just before the PC arrived in Zim (what year did they start?). Would love to chat some time with a Castle and bag of Willards... oh, yeah, there isn't any of either left in the country.... stuck with Mainstay and Mazoe... wait, just ran out of that, too. Cheers.
