since 16, I then have hoped about the west coast always in this field, i love making coffee. Landing now at a wonderful busy busy indy shop in Newport Beach, owned by Martin Dietrich....of the former detrich coffee. I love latte art, espresso shots, and sass.

About Me:
I truly have some sick passion for coffee. But at the same time, what is so sick about it?? There is something so satisfying about pulling a shot and pouring a beautiful rosetta. I swear everyday i go to work i learn something new---that is why I love it. I always am challenged.

    Hey Tim, welcome to bx. It's cool to finally see a Kean barista on here. I was fortunate to have worked there for a bit. Martin is a brilliant roaster.     Post-Wed. update: Hue Hue is going into our mix as of two days ago. By Sunday, you'll be using espresso roasted after April 9th, which is when the change happened (the day i raised hell). African going back into the toddy for good now, thanks to Ted. Gotta love that guy. Also, the new Tanzania made it out of Mombasa and will very soon arrive. We're cupping tons of Ethiopia in the next few weeks (you'll be there for that). All this means that we can be proud of our shots again.
    BTW: either tomorrow or Monday i'll be isolating all the espresso componants as they are now and pulling single origins in lab so try to stop by; i'll call you when it's ready.
