About Me:
I obsess about coffee full time, roast part time and do some occasional barista training. I trained for a time to compete in the SWRBC, but ended up serving as a judge and learning a great deal from some experienced coffee people. I love roasting. I love people's reactions when they recognize and appreciate the difference care, quality and freshness make, whether it's a fresh pound of beans or a shot of espresso.
About My Company:
Blackland Coffee is me and my 5 lb. propane-fired drum roaster. I roast a nice variety of single-origin, co-op and estate coffees, as well as my espresso blend I call Red Tail.
Hi Chuck. If there's anything else I can do to help out, let me know. Reviewing espresso is something I've done a whole lot of, and while it's no longer the exciting experience it used to be, I still learn a great deal from it, and I enjoy being able to give honest and objective third-party feedback whenever it's wanted.
I want coffee to do well, and the more good roasters we have, the better off we'll be. You're doing God's work there in DFW.
