If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
maybe
About Me:
Helped JavaJ in Sacramento get off the ground and running. Started pulling shots as we were putting the floor in the shop. I was a barista there for nearly two years and now I am located on the California Central Coast.
you gots to makes that decision for yerself, clint. I decided to go with the Element 114 blend from Barefoot (duh)...They slightly changed the roast profile a while back, and now its alot smoother, with a more deeply embedded nut note...close to an almond, which i'm digging, especially with my sig drink.
Hey man, it was sick hanging out over the last week and such, good job at comps, next year we will rock it out rebel style. Double Ristrettos for all! haha. See you soon man.

I'm Bruno, I'm from Brazil and recently add to the Barista exchange, I saw that you compete in a championship, so how was it ?? I compete here in Brazil too, I've got first and second in the regionals in 2006 and 2007, this year in the Brazil champs I've got 9th place( sniff)

I Like regional too, actually I'm getting used to, (rs,rs) the thing here in Brazil are taking a whole new level, a compete here like five years(2003,2004,2006,2007,2008) I had lot's of presentations and noticed the evolution of each competitors, equipment, appositely dressed, all looking sharp, and the familiar faces getting level ups, very exciting.
Definitively Regional and competitions are fun, and get us in the heart and in the nerves , give us some emotions and help us to know whats going on in the coffee industry.
bye
