What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
I love the fact that I can be apart of a product that effects so many people's lives from the farmer, to the person who drinks the cup of coffee. I get happy specifically helping out the farmers.

    Lori,
    I was racking my brain trying to figure out for a minute how I knew of you... you and your husband roast for Zoka, right? I'm assuming because of your profile that you do. I am a pastor at one of the site churches (Exit 59) with MAC and I am now in charge of training all the coffee trainers for AWC. We are also doing something new called The Coffee Institute of America (coffee school sort of like Bellissimo). Anyhow, I hear stories about you guys, too. I'm mildly jealous that you're in Seattle.

    my bad about the whole marriage thing... i just assumed with the same last name... so sorry... Chris is great and pours art like no one I've ever met. He's a world class barista and just a fun guy. It'd be cool to have some guests in the future at coffee school who can talk about roasting... maybe we'll work something out with the coffee school...

    Lori, it was good tohangout you and the zoca crew, I just got back in and..apparently St Louis received a ton of rain over the weekend and my apartment complex was flooded and is now uninhabitable ...needless to say I'm not quite prancing with vigor...
