About Me:
Born and bred in the suburbs of kansas city I found myself getting a job in a coffee shop in may of 2005. What has followed was a love affair which still runs strong to this day. While not concerning myself with coffee I work on writing creative fiction, am a huge music buff, film nerd, beer connoisseur, self-improvement buff, part time college student, a big brother in the big brother/big sister program, trying to figure out the meaning of life, striving to be like citrus mouse more and more each day.
About My Company:
Latte'Land is a microchain of six stores throughout kansas city and its suburbs. Starting in 1993 and as one of the first coffee shops in kansas city Latte'Land has been a comfortable place to get a good beverage for 15 years. Proudly locally owned and operated the future holds more stores and continuation of what has made us great to our customer base.

  • Chris Weber

Indeed, the beard is mighty. So much so, that it thwarts me in all attempts to shave it. I shall have to try a surprise, side trim to get it off of there but . . . wait, I think it is listening. We must stop this conversation now--It knows what we are thinking.
In all earnestness, I am planning an espresso trip to KC next Friday (the 29th). Will you be working and where might I find you?
  • ThePete

  • The Barista Formerly Known As JavaJ

Uh...I don't remember what book we were talking about specifically, but I believe it may have been "Uncommon Grounds" by Mark Pendergrast. Great book on the history of coffee. Anyone who reads it will be hard pressed to talk about "Third Wave" as though it's something new.
  • Caitlin Corcoran

i don't find that offensive at all. i like the smell of sycamore trees. now if you would have said a dogwood, those would have been fighting words my friend.
