Sure thing. My personal preference in Austin is JP's Java (www.jpsjava.com), but the "talk of the town" has been Caffe Medici (www.caffemedici.com) with two locations.
In regards to roasting, I have had some good coffee from Texas Coffee Traders. Austin Roasting Company is a newish roasting outfit operated by an ex-chef. So while it's not stellar yet, the odds are good that it will be.
I'm a fan of their standard espresso blend, though I have had other coffees that I felt needed some work on the roasting end.
The folks at Medici are coffee nerds, and they're a good source of information for the local Austin coffee scene.

Please let me know next time you're in the city. Would love to sit over...drinks...and talk about all things.
