Hi Sé - you should still jealous - Nicaragua was FANTASTIC!! I hope to see you in Copenhagen but unfortunately my coffeeshop is in the other end of(small) Denmark. I will probaly be in Copenhagen all four days. Congratulations with the good result in the UKBC finals - Café Krem is good!! How are you anyway?
I`m a Land Rover fan, but last summer me made a overland trip through Argentine in a couple of Toyota Hilux and they were OK.
I`m working in a non-profit venture, and I`m starting to recruit world-class trainers & baristas to train the local baristas at america`s coffee growing countries.
The idea is to cover their expenses (air ticket + hotel + food) for a 3 day trip (at least) with sponsor support.
The venture will start by February 2009, if you`re able to donate a couple of days of your time, to promote the barista profession, please let me know, and I`ll send you the schedule.
no, no broken legs, a sore ass though, and the ritual humiliation of being overtaken by my kids, but I guess i can live with it.
Congratulations to Soren on winning the danish BC.
Hi Se!
Busy times down here in the big smoke. Missed out on Caffe Culture - too much work to do! Were you there? Really sad I missed out on meeting up with all the UKBC baristi again. Hopefully there'll be another jam soon so we can have another excuse for a few drinks afterwards! Excuse my ignorance but where exactly on the Emerald Isle is Newry? x
I did see you were in the cupping finals - good job! Hope you enjoyed your holiday as well now you have to work even more. But it is very exciting - I wish you the best for all your shops. I hope to come by someday. Are you a handyman who can build everything or? Good luck with the work and opening.
Hey, I can't believe that there's a place in N. Ireland that does good coffee! My wife is from Enniskillen which is not exactly nearby but I might just have to make a point of calling in next time we are over.
Thank you and they all did very well as you probably already know. How did it go with the opening of the new place?
I was so lucky to meet Hugo and his wife - they are so nice!
It is fantastic - congratulations with Ireland!! He is amazing and great - we have got a superb champion!!!!!!!!!!
